Christmas pudding is a dessert that is traditionally served on Christmas Day in Great Britain. It is sometimes known as plum pudding, although this can also refer to other kinds of boiled pudding involving dried fruit. It is commonly decorated with holly, and once it has been doused in brandy, it is flamed (or 'fired',) which is why it is frequently referred to as "flaming" Christmas pudding.

History[]

In 1986[2] and 1991,[1] it was served during the Christmas Feast at Hogwarts.
