Chroniculus Punnet was a magical historian and the author of Hogwarts, A History [1]. His book is a compilation of the School and Castle's history. Hermione Granger was an avid reader of his works. Punnet has, however, left out of his work the house-elfs' work in the Castle's kitchens, to Hermione Granger's distaste.
