Clapham is an area of London, England.[3]
History[]
Sturgis Podmore lived at 2 Laburnum Gardens in this neighbourhood,[1] and Stan Shunpike also had a home located there.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
- When J. K. Rowling first began writing the Harry Potter books she was living in a flat in Clapham Junction with flatmates.[4] Note however that despite the name, Clapham Junction is actually in nearby Battersea, not in Clapham as such.
