The Cleansweep One was the first broomstick produced by the Cleansweep Broom Company, created in 1926. The first racing broom designed for sporting use, the Cleansweep One cornered like no other broom in existence at the time.[1]
Within a year of its release, every Quidditch team in Britain was mounted on them. It was followed by the Cleansweep Two in 1934.[1]
