The Corridor of Secrets[3] was a corridor that was inside the Chamber of Secrets which led to the main Chamber.[1]
History[]
The Corridor of Secrets was created by Salazar Slytherin in the early 10th Century. It was a corridor that lead to the main Chamber of Secrets. It was in here that Gilderoy Lockhart accidentally hit himself with the Memory Charm using Ronald Weasley's Broken Wand in an attempt to erase Ron's and Harry Potter's memories. A shed Basilisk skin from the Serpent of Slytherin could be found in the corridor. It led into the Dark Hall, the Lost Tunnel, and the Forgotten Cavern.[1]
