Crescent Flump was a wizard and a managing supervisor in the Rare, Obscure, and Confounding Case Division in the British Ministry of Magic.[1]
Biography[]
In his youth, he attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The house-elves made him shortbread cookies.[4]
Physical description[]
Crescent had brown hair with light skin.[1]
Personality and traits[]
He appeared to get on well with the other ROCC personnel, though he was deliberately cold and emotionally distant with Jacob's sibling, even affixing their unique instant dismissal clause to their assigned tasks should they fail whilst on the job.
Etymology[]
A crescent is a symbol used to represent the lunar phase in the first quarter.[5]
To flump is to fall or sit back heavily.[6] Additionally, in the United Kingdom, a Flumps is a long, twisted marshmallow confectionary.[7]
