The Curse-Breaking instructions was a document that was given to Cecil Lee when he stood in for an unknown Gringotts Curse-Breaker during the Career's Day at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during the 1986–1987 school year. It provided instructions on how to break the Dangling Jinx placed on the cursed sock that was also intended to be part of the demonstration. When Cecil accidentallly put on the cursed sock, he was hoisted into the air and unable to free himself, having to be saved by Jacob's sibling and Merula Snyde, who were able to see the counter-spell Liberacorpus written on the document.[1]
