- "Renegade skull, usually of a deceased pirate or smuggler."
- — Folio Bruti[src]
A Cursed Skull was the skull of a deceased human that had been cursed, and then possessed by a spirit.[1][2]
Description[]
The person in question, while still alive, who would typically have been a pirate or smuggler, would have abandoned their post, having a curse put on their skull, only to then be taken over by a hostile spirit that would control the skull to bite any passerby it disdained. This curse on the skull had the effect of giving poisoning anybody it attacked, as well as giving it a green tinge. While being possessed by a spirit, the skull was particularly vulnerable to the Skurge Charm (given that the charm frightened away spirits), but was particularly resistant to the Fire-Making Spell.[1]
