The dandelion is a common yellow wildflower.

In the summer of 1996, Hagrid offered Harry Potter a glass of iced dandelion juice when he went to visit him.[2]
Elphias Doge was said to resemble an aged dandelion clock because of his cloud of white hair.[3]
The grounds at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry had dandelions which could be seen from the small ground-level windows of the Hufflepuff common room.[4][5]
