This coin, which belonged to Hogwarts student Daniel Page, was a Galleon coin that had a date in the future.[1]
History[]
Daniel Page found this coin at his home during the summer of 2009 and brought it to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry the following school year. At school, Daniel and his friends were unsure what the future date on the coin meant, but wanted to focus on Professor Jakub Gorski's History of Magic homework for the time being.[1]
In the 2010–2011 school year, the criminal Victor Gridley revealed that he made the coin and gave it to Daniel's mother, Kaleena Page, to remind her of the debt she owed him. As Kaleena was in Azkaban, Victor expected Daniel to pay his mother's debt by searching for the stolen Skeleton Key.[2]
