This unidentified spell (incantation unknown) was the counter-curse for the Dark Mark produced by the Dark charm Morsmordre.[1] It was used to make a Dark Mark in the sky disappear.
History[]
Various people, including the residents of Hogwarts and Hogsmeade, used this spell in 1997 after the Battle of the Astronomy Tower and the death of Albus Dumbledore to vanish the conjured Dark Mark in the sky; this was done nonverbally. The spell vanished the Dark Mark in a burst of blinding white light in the sky.[1]
