Dave Wilcox is an actor who was part of the Swings in the Hamburg Mehr! Theatre production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.^[2] He was also the understudies for Bane, Rubeus Hagrid, Draco Malfoy, and the Aviemore station master during the production.

Organised by Bloomsbury Publishing for the 2021 Harry Potter Book Night, Wilcox portrayed Griphook, voicing him when the cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child read aloud Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Chapter 5 (Diagon Alley) together.^[3]^[4]
