Davies was the surname of a wizarding family that lived in Great Britain. The blood status of the family is unknown. From the 1980s until the 1990s, three known members of this family attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Known family members[]
- Lawrence Davies attended Hogwarts in the late 19th century and was sorted into Gryffindor. He participated in the Crossed Wands duelling club.[1]
- Chester Davies attended Hogwarts during the 1980s and was sorted into Ravenclaw. He was also appointed as a prefect in his fifth year. After graduating from Hogwarts in 1987, he became an employee of the British Ministry of Magic in the Improper Use of Magic Office.[3]
- Roger Davies attended Hogwarts from 1989 to 1996 and was sorted into Ravenclaw. He was a Chaser and captain of the house's Quidditch team.[2]
- Davies attended Hogwarts during the 1990s. He attempted to enter the girls' toilets in 1996, and was subsequently scolded by Professor Minerva McGonagall.[4]
