"Mr Ollivander had sent Luna a new wand that morning. She was out on the back lawn at that moment, testing its capabilities in the late afternoon sun. Dean, who had lost his wand to the Snatchers, was watching rather gloomily."
— Description.[src]

The wand of Dean Thomas was of unknown length and wood and core materials.

Like most wizards and witches in Britain, he likely purchased it at the age of eleven before beginning his education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1991.

Dean lost his wand in March 1998 to a group of Snatchers.[1] During the Battle of Hogwarts Dean won himself a new wand, either taken from one of the fallen or obtained by physical force.[2]
