Death's Shadow were entities created by Death which were found in Niamh Fitzgerald's book. They were highly sensitive to the power of the Elder Wand, and despite their strength, the wand quickly would defeat them.[1]
History[]
During the 1890–1891 school year, a student from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry entered Fitzgerald's storybook to undertake her trial. Inside, they observed Death summoning hundreds of Shadows, which swiftly wiped out the fictional villagers. The Shadows then roamed the scene. Upon discovering the Elder Wand within Fitzgerald's book, the student used its power to obliterate the Shadows.[1]
