- Harry Potter: "No. But it doesn’t do anything else either."
- — A discussion about deboning[src]
Deboning was the healing art of Vanishing bones.[1][2]
History[]
In 1992, after Harry Potter had his arm broken by a rogue Bludger after the first Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin of the school year, Gilderoy Lockhart attempted to mend the bones in Harry Potter's arm. However, due to his ineptitude in Healing magic, he ended up vanishing them instead with the spell Brackium Emendo, which resulted in Poppy Pomfrey having to regrow Harry's vanished bones with Skele-Gro in the Hospital Wing.[1]
