The Department of Defence was a department of the British Ministry of Magic. It was responsible for the implementation of wizarding Great Britain defence policy.[1]

History[]

In 1996, Weasley's Wizard Wheezes released Jinx-Off, a spell-protection kit which included a protective hat, cloak, and gloves, by appointment to this committee.[1]
