Dervish and Banges was a Hogsmeade wizarding equipment shop that sold and repaired "magical instruments and stuff", according to Ronald Weasley, including Sneakoscopes. It was located near the end of High Street.

History

In the 1890s, the owner of the shop was Thaddeus Travers who was considered a bit inattentive.

Later in 1995, Harry Potter met Sirius Black disguised as his Animagus form "Padfoot", a black dog, on a path beyond Dervish and Banges which led up to a cave above Hogsmeade. When several Death Eaters escaped from Azkaban in the following year, a poster with their pictures appeared in the window of Dervish and Banges.

In 2010, they had a sign stating they sold toy broomsticks.
