The Diamond District was an area of Manhattan that ran the stretch of 47th Street between its intersections with Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue.[1] The district received its name from its many jewellery shops.[1]
History[]
While walking to Central Park through the Diamond District in 1926, Newt Scamander chanced upon his lost niffler pilfering the wares of the Voclain & Co. jewellery shop, leading him to break into the store to recapture it.[2]
