This spell (incantation unknown) was a Dark charm that caused the person who was hit to burst into small pieces and disintegrate.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- This spell only makes an appearance in the film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, in which Molly Weasley uses it to finish off Bellatrix Lestrange. In the book, Bellatrix is hit squarely in the chest by a curse that caused her eyes to bulge and her body to topple lifelessly to the ground.
- This spell may have been the Reductor Curse or Expulso Curse.
