Domhnall Gleeson is an Irish[1] actor who played Bill Weasley in the film adaptations of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.[2] He replaced Richard Fish, who had portrayed the character in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. He worked alongside his father, Brendan Gleeson, who has portrayed Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody since Goblet of Fire.[2]. Gleeson was cast in the Star Wars sequel trilogy (Episodes VII-IX) as General Hux, one of the new antagonists.
He was nominated for a Tony Award in 2006 for his role as Davey in the play The Lieutenant of Inishmore.[2]
