Dorothy "Dot" Sprottle (fl. 1890) was a potioneer in the late 19th century.

Biography

She was once married to her husband Aidan. Sirona Ryan would stay with her and her husband when she was a student and waited tables at the Three Broomsticks Inn.

During the 1890–1891 school year, she lived in Upper Hogsfield and asked the new fifth-year student to gather some Horklumps for her to help with her Wiggenweld Potion supply, as well as a box of letters for Sirona.

Also during that year, she enlisted the aid of the new fifth-year in finding Claire Beaumont's brother Bardolph after he went missing in the Forbidden Forest.
