"Several people screamed - Harry felt something white and hot graze the side of his face - he plunged his hand into his robes for his wand, but before he'd even touched it, he heard a second loud bang, and a roar which echoed through the Entrance Hall."

This hex (incantation unknown) was performed by Draco Malfoy in an attack against Harry Potter after the latter insulted his mother.[1] Harry's back was turned when the spell was cast, and it therefore missed; something white and hot missed his cheek by the tiniest space, most likely the light from the spell.[1]

Behind the scenes

  • This could be any hex that was white in colour; its name and incantation are unknown.
