In 1991, Dudley Dursley owned a pet tortoise. After losing his second bedroom to Harry Potter, he became upset and enraged and threw the tortoise through a greenhouse window. Whether the fall killed the tortoise or just injured it and was healed afterwards is unknown.[1]
