Dumbledore's Army: The Dark Side of the Demob was a book by sensationalist author Rita Skeeter, about the lives of the members of Dumbledore's Army. This book according to her description, seemed to focus on their "imperfections". It was launched at Flourish and Blotts on 31 July, 2014.[1]

Skeeter advertised for this book in her gossip column of the Daily Prophet on 8 July of that year, in which she made various insinuations against the members of Dumbledore's Army who had gathered for the 2014 Quidditch World Cup in the Patagonian Desert.
