- "Alas! Earwax."
- — Albus Dumbledore after trying Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans[src]
Earwax is a waxy substance secreted from the ear canal of humans and other mammals.[1]
History[]
Earwax was one of the many flavours of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans. On 7 June 1992, Albus Dumbledore consumed an earwax-flavoured bean while visiting Harry Potter in the Hospital Wing, believing he could have had a toffee-flavoured bean instead.[2]
The earwax of a troll was consumed by trollwig, one of the beast's parasites.[3]
