Edith was a German witch who was employed at the German Ministry of Magic in the early 1930s.[1]
Biography[]
In 1932, Edith graciously welcomed Eulalie Hicks and Jacob Kowalski (a Muggle) to the German Ministry of Magic in Berlin, asking them what business they sought at the German Ministry. She later was in attendance at the Candidates' Dinner held for candidates of the upcoming election for the International Confederation of Wizards Supreme Mugwump position, in which she sat near the Norwegian Minister for Magic.[1]

"Edith" is a female given name, from the Old English words, and it means 'riches or blessed'.
