Edmund Spiers was a student who began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry between 1987 and 1989.[3]
Biography[]
By the 1993–1994 school year, he had been made a Prefect, and was given the job of patrolling areas of the school which were off limits to students.[3]
Etymology[]
Edmund means rich protecter, which may relate to him being a Prefect.It was the name of two Anglo-Saxon kings who refused to give up half their Christian kingdom to a Danish leader.
