==History==
In the [[1890–1891 school year]], this office was used by Eleazar Fig. He met the [[Unidentified 19th-century Hogwarts student|new fifth-year student]] here to discuss how the locket they had found in [[Vault 12]] had produced a map of Hogwarts which led to the [[Map Chamber]]. Eleazar was about to bring the student to the chamber before they were interrupted by [[Phineas Nigellus Black]], who called Eleazar away.<ref name="TLS">{{HL|The Locket's Secret}}</ref> Later in the year, they met again to disguise the student as Professor Black with [[Polyjuice Potion]], so that the student could retrieve the [[password]] to the [[Headmaster's office]] in order to speak with [[Niamh Fitzgerald]]'s [[portrait]].<ref name="TPP">{{HL|The Polyjuice Plot}}</ref>
