- "You see before you a course comprising enchanted rings. What you must do is to fly through as many of these rings as possible in the correct order."
- — Rolanda Hooch[src]
Enchanted rings[1] or magic rings[2] were used by Rolanda Hooch in her Flying classes to test her students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She created a course of rings, which the student was required to fly through in the correct order within the allotted time.[1][2]
Enchanted rings were also used in games of Owl Racing at Hogwarts.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
- It could be possible that this spell is similar to Flagrate, as both spells create temporary markings in the air.
- In some games, star shapes are used to denote the path of flight the student should take. These stars could be produced with the same spell as the rings.
