Eulalie Hicks owned a copy of It Can't Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis that served as a Portkey.[1]
History[]
In 1932, Eulalie Hicks used this Portkey book to transport Jacob Kowalski and herself away from Kowalski Quality Baked Goods in New York, so they could start their mission for Albus Dumbledore.[1]
Later, during the Candidates' Dinner at the German Ministry of Magic, Eulalie used her Portkey book to transport herself and Jacob away from the ensuing magical chaos there.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- It Can't Happen Here is an ironic choice for the book, as the book details the rise of a fascist dictator in America, which can be seen as a parallel to Gellert Grindlewald's rise in the films.
Appearances[]
- Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore - The Complete Screenplay
- Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (First appearance)
