Eunice Murray was a British witch and the Seeker for the Montrose Magpies. Murray once petitioned for a "faster Snitch because this is just too easy." Murray died in 1942.
The name "Eunice" is the Latinized form of the Greek name Ευνικη (Eunike) which meant "good victory". Eunike is derived as well from the name of the goddess of victory in Greek mythology Nike.
