Everlasting Elixirs were a type of potion with the effect to either never run out of potion or to work forever.[1][2]

During the 1988–1989 school year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Professor Severus Snape taught his fifth-years how to brew these particular concoctions in Potions class.[2]
Harry Potter studied Everlasting Elixirs in sixth-year Potions class, taking notes on them in the Hogwarts Library from his copy of Advanced Potion-Making, which the Half-Blood Prince had annotated.[1]
