Auror Ewan Ward was a pure-blood wizard who worked as an Auror for the British Ministry of Magic.

Biography

Ewan was born in England to a pure-blood wizarding family. At age eleven, he began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was sorted into Hufflepuff house. He must have exceeded in Charms, Transfiguration, Herbology, Potions and Defence Against the Dark Arts, as he later joined the British Auror Office where he worked for decades and even fought during the Second Wizarding War. He was a very skilled wizard, being able to take down dozens of Death Eaters single-handedly.

In or after the 2010–2011 school year, he was assigned as mentor of a Hogwarts student during the Ministry of Magic Work Experience Programme.

In the same year, mayhem broke out at the Ministry when prints of Dark Marks appeared everywhere in the Ministrh. That day, Ewan worked hard to resolve the case. At the same time, Ianna Afolayan, a Muggle, accidentally stumbled into the Ministry and unknowingly made her way into the Auror Office. The student Ewan had to mentor decided they would take care of the Muggle while Ewan returned outside to handle the Dark Mark situation. Ewan had a brief duel with the student to test their abilities, and they proved themselves capable of staying and assisting.
