Extreme Dive and Pull Up was an advanced flying manoeuvre which involved flying a broomstick to a great hight before rapidly diving towards the ground, followed by a quick pull up to avoid impact with the ground. Accomplishing this manoeuvre without sustaining serious injury was essential for Quidditch players who wanted to employ the Wronski Feint.[1]
History[]
During the 1987–1988 school year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Madam Hooch taught this technique to her fourth-year Flying students.[1]
