Extreme Incantations was the title of a spellbook written by the witch Violeta Stitch,[3] sometime prior to 1932.[2]
History[]
In 1932, Eulalie Hicks owned a copy of it.[2]
Professor Filius Flitwick employed this textbook for his second-year Charms students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to read throughout the summer holidays so that they could learn the Lumos Maxima charm, covered in chapter thirty-two. Harry Potter owned a copy of this textbook, and practised the said charm underneath his bed covers in his bedroom at 4 Privet Drive during the summer holidays without getting caught.[3]
During the Calamity in the late 2010s or early 2020s, a Calamity Investigator working for the Statute of Secrecy Task Force re-read their copy of this book in order to help improve their chances of returning Foundables from Traces.[4]
