Faeces are a waste product dispelled from the digestive system of humans and animals through the anus.[4] The faeces of some magical creatures could be used as fertilisers.
Magical uses[]
Dragon dung, the faeces produced by dragons, was commonly used as a powerful fertiliser in the field of Herbology,[5][1] and was the main component of the dragon dung fertiliser potion.[2] Mooncalf dung, produced by Mooncalves, was another potent fertiliser which would make any magical plant it was applied on to grow fast and strong, but only if collected before sunrise.[3]
Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes sold U-No-Poo, a product designed to prevent the production of faeces in human beings.[6]
