The Family Duels case was an investigation conducted by the British Ministry of Magic after Mathilda Grimblehawk and her partner, while shopping in Hogsmeade for a present for Gethsemane Prickle, were accosted by an old witch who complained about her tenant, suspecting him of keeping a magical beast. Their investigation later led them to St Oswald's Home for Old Witches and Wizards.[1]
