Faris Spavin, sometime between 1865 and 1903, when he served as Minister for Magic of Great Britain and Ireland, survived a kick from a centaur who was offended by a joke told by Minister Spavin. The physical assault was called an attempted "assassination," but it is unclear if the centaur in question actually was trying to kill Spavin.[1]
The joke concerned a centaur, a ghost, and a dwarf walking into a bar for some reason.[1]
