Fastidio's Monster was an assortment of animated items of furniture that formed a "monster", created by the poltergeist Fastidio. It was a rather violent combination of crates, barrels and other pieces of furniture. The "monster" was located deep within the dungeons of Fastidio's chest.[1]
History[]
In the 1890–1891 school year, a fifth-year student entered Fastidio's chest in The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop, after being tricked by the shop's owner Cassandra Mason. As they prepared to leave the chest, Fastidio used his magic to animate various pieces of furniture to form this "monster", to fight the student. The student succeeded in using spells to destroy the monster along with his mannequins, allowing them to escape the chest.[1]
