There was a chest in the back room of The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop which was haunted by Fastidio. Inside was a dungeon which he called his "playground".[1]

The dungeon was very large with several rooms, including one with a giant board of Wizard's Chess, an atrium, library and an outdoor area. It contained animated mannequins.[1]
History[]
In the late 19th century, the chest contained a dungeon haunted by Fastidio, a poltergeist. Cassandra Mason kept the chest in the back room of her shop. She tricked people by pretending to sell her shop to several tenants and lured them into the chest where they were driven to madness. One day, she "sold" her shop to a Hogwarts student who was given the key to the chest by Penny. They were encouraged to open it. Upon opening the chest, they discovered a ladder which led down into the dungeon. They explored a few rooms until reaching one with creepy mannequins that moved around.[1]
Fastidio shut the door so the student couldn't leave the room. The mannequins were strung up while he gleefully celebrated having a new person to play with. The student opened another door and travelled through a few more rooms until finally meeting Fastidio. He wanted to student to keep trying and get to end of the dungeon so they could make a deal. The poltergeist threw things at the student while they tried to find a way out. At one point, they encountered a giant board of Wizard's Chess. To get to the other side of the room, the student had to avoid the squares which collapsed when they stood on it.[1]
Eventually, they reached an outdoor area where Fastidio challenged them to fight his "monster", which he created out of various items of furniture lying around the courtyard. After defeating the "monster", Fastidio allowed them to escape the chest. In return, the student agreed to let Fastidio out of the chest twice a month to haunt the shop, only after 9pm however, when all the customers had left. After escaping the chest, they re-joined Penny in the shop.[1]
