The Feldcroft Catacomb was an underground burial place located in Feldcroft, Scotland. It was populated by spiders and Inferi.[1][2]
History[]
Medieval period[]
- "I foolishly mentioned the relic in my report and was reminded to leave it where it lay. [...] Therefore, when no-one was looking, I acted. I conjured two barricades to isolate the relic. Ancestors forgive me, but I used their very bones as the key."

At some point within the early medieval period, a student of Salazar Slytherin ventured into the Catacomb, where they discovered a dark relic. They were not permitted to take the relic out of the Catacomb, so they locked it in using human bones.[1]
1890–1891 school year[]
After discovering Slytherin's Spellbook in his secret Scriptorium at Hogwarts, Sebastian read about this student's travels and learned about the existence of the relic, which he was determined could help cure his cursed sister, Anne. He invited his friend into the Catacomb to find the relic, where they fought countless spiders to pass into its resting chamber. Sebastian took the relic, but was stopped by Ominis Gaunt, who refused to let them get away with practising the Dark Arts. Sebastian's friend either persuaded or used the Imperius Curse on Ominis to let them past.[1]
At a later point in time, Sebastian invited Anne to the Catacomb by sending her his crest – a coded signal. Using the powers of the relic, Sebastian controlled the Inferi within the cave, which his friend had to battle through to reach him. When they finally met, they were interrupted by Solomon Sallow, Sebastian and Anne's uncle, who summoned and destroyed the relic, much to Sebastian's anger.[2]
The murder of Solomon Sallow
Sebastian nonverbally attacked his uncle, leading to a duel between Solomon, Sebastian, and Sebastian's friend, while also being attacked by countless waves of Inferi. Sebastian performed the Killing Curse on Solomon, murdering his uncle in cold blood. Shortly after, Anne arrived, destroyed the remaining Inferi, and then destroyed Slytherin's Spellbook, before Disapparating with their uncle's corpse.[1]
