The field mushroom is the common name of Agaricus campestris, a large, white, edible mushroom. Upon first meeting his future wife Hope Howell, Lyall Lupin used the Boggart-Banishing Spell to turn a Boggart that was frightening Hope into a field mushroom. This act of chivalry kindled their relationship.[1]
