The Bureau des Affaires Gastromagiques (English: Bureau of Gastromagical Affairs) was a wizarding government agency operating under the jurisdiction of the French Ministry of Magic.[1]

In 1927, a "Magical Cheese Maker" competition was held by the French Ministry. All participants were supposed to create a cheese spell "worthy of Cyrille Paynel". The winner would receive their weight in Livarot cheese.[1]
