Fine Enchanting Cauldrons was a shop specialising in cauldrons, located at Diagon Alley. It had many different kinds of cauldrons on display, including Steel, Deco, Baby, Standard Iron, Pewter, Gold, Copper, Deco Iron, and Etched Silver.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- In the original painting by Bob Petillo, the sign next to the cauldrons on display read "Fine Enchanting Caldrons" [sic]. The spelling of the world "Cauldrons", however, seems to have been corrected sometime before being published as the illustration to the Harry Potter Trading Card Game card "Cauldron Shop". Another such difference between the original painting and the version that was published in the card is the label of the cauldron nearest the viewer: on the painting, it says "Etched Silver", but on the card illustration it says "Forged Silver".[2]
