Fish and chips was a traditional British take-away food, consisting, as the name suggested, of battered and fried fish served with chips. Fish and chips were often served at chip shops.
The Three Broomsticks Inn in Hogsmeade also served fish and chips.[1] Their particular recipe used fresh North Atlantic cod and was served with tartar sauce.[3]
