So, we know about the 4 Marauders, in James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter, but was anything said about the assumed fifth Gryffindor boy? Was he ostracized from this gang? Or, should it be assumed that there were more than just 5 boys in the House, and Harry's class was small? Immobulus 05:59, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- To my knowledge, JKR has never spoken of any other boys in Gryffindor in the Marauders' year, but she has confirmed more than once that, in addition to Hermione, Lavender, and Parvati, there were two unidentified Gryffindor girls in Harry's year. So I think it's possible that there was at least one other boy Sorted into Gryffindor in 1971 along with the Marauders. ★ Starstuff (Owl me!) 23:28, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

It could be Severus Snape, On his article it say's that he was sat with James, Lily, Remus, Sirius And Peter on the train saying that Lily should be in Gryffindor house
