I read that Crabbe will not return in Deathly Hallows and they'll kill off Goyle in his place... is that true or is it a false rumor or a joke or something? Ghostkaiba297 05:45, September 4, 2009 (UTC)

It's true. The actor who plays him was aresstead for growing cannabis plants, and can't do the film because he is serving community service, and because warner bro's don't want kids thinking that drugs are ok. –K.A.J•T•C•E• 10:01, September 4, 2009 (UTC)

Deathly Hallows movie poster

Some exiting news on the Deathly Hallows film front. Firstly WanerBros have released the first official teaser poster for the film. Secondly, as with the Half-Blood Prince film their has been a script leak, which deals with Harry, Ron and Hermione being captured by the Snatchers. Apparently there have been some MAJOR changes to this scene. The first change is the location. The trio are pitching their tent inside and abandoned block of flats in East London, when Hermoine triggers the Taboo. Fenrir Greyback and his gang enter by climbing up the side of the building. Then begins a chase through the derelict appartments, where the Snatchers played by Chase Armitage, Sam Parham and Adam Brashaw utilize their Parkour/FreeRunning skills to capture the trio one by one. Also in the film version all five Snatchers are Werewolfes, not just Greyback. Furthermore, Dean Thomas and Griphook are not part of this scene, they have apparently already been captured. Personally I can't wait for this film! Horace E. F. Slughorn 09:35, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

This film is going to be awesome! –K.A.JTCE 10:42, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

That scene souns amazing. I'm glad they spiced it up a bit. Jayce DarkmarkAvada KedavraCrucioImperio 12:23, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Are we allowed to post script leaks here so people can read them? –K.A.JTCE 14:34, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

The poster, though lovely, is an unofficial fan creation, and has been floating around the internet since December. Starstuff (Owl me!) 20:12, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
Just found out that it was made by fan artist Enyafreak and first uploaded to the Leaky Cauldron in March 2008. Starstuff (Owl me!) 20:32, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Rats. Why don't sites like Rotten Tomatoes check these things, before claiming their official. Oh well, script leaks still cool. And no KAJ, were not allowed to post them. Jayce DarkmarkAvada KedavraCrucioImperio 07:05, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

I've read that script leak as well, but I wasn't sure if it was genuine. Were the Snatchers all Werewolves in the book? 81.154.27.82 17:13, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

Not mentioned, only Greyback is confirmed.--Rodolphus 17:15, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

Is it canon then? Since the book doesn't contradict it? 81.154.27.82 17:17, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

Not until it's definitively confirmed. A lot can change in a movie during the production process. Nick O'Demus 17:31, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

True enough. Although, Adam Brashaw has said in an interview that his scenes have already been filmed, so... 81.154.27.82 12:44, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

Yes, but the leaked script may be a very early draft, rather than the version Adam Brashaw filmed. Starstuff (Owl me!) 21:50, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Does anyone know where the cut-off point is for the first movie? PK Fwooper 23:57, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Part 1 will end in a cliffhanger, according both to both Daniel Radcliffe and David Yates, but the point of the split is still unknown. Starstuff (Owl me!) 02:31, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

It will be split at the point when the trio are captured by Greyback. 86.156.253.68 07:41, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Hope the movies are at least two and a half hours EACH. Otherwise, it will be a clear miss... Template:Signatures/4ndrepd 10:00, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Anyone else think split at The Silver Doe? Lysander Scamander 16:25, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

I have a feeling that both films will be shorter than the OOTP 90.199.56.242 18:42, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

The good thing about the film is it kicks off with fighting straight away --Bongo2009 Gryffindor Talk 08:07, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

How do we know that it starts out with fighting? I know in the book there is the Battle of Little Whinging but that is after everyone turns into Harry via the Polyjuice Potion. Is there going to be any of that in the film? And I think there will be a split when Xeno Lovegood tells them about the Deathly Hallows, it wouldn't make sense any other way. While all or most of us have read the books there are plenty of people that just watch the movies and don't bother with the books. So to the people that don't read it wouldn't make sense for the film to be called the Deathly Hallows without some sort of explanation as to why it's called that. Just sayin'.Still Learning 13:00, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Some rumors also suggest that DH1 starts of with Dumbledore's funeral. I guess someone can confirm that here for the rest of us. there is also a Dudley farewell that is being shot for the movie so don't really know where the funeral scene will be because of the 7 potters episode. Speaking of which, seems like the Sirius motorbike is not flying. They shot extensively in the streets under the tunnel, etc. I wonder if there is going to be any green room effect for that one.--Morsmordree 11:47, September 3, 2009 (UTC)
