Hey there! Miller here, the Community Manager of Harry Potter Wiki. I hope everyone is well! As you all might be aware, Audible will be releasing a full cast of audiobooks of Harry Potter novels from November 2025 onwards! We're hoping that we can celebrate with the community on the upcoming release. This was an inquiry directly for the admins/mods of the wiki, however, I'd like to also extend this inquiry to community members as well. Would a redesign/re-theme be of interest to this community in honor of the upcoming audible release? For those with questions on what a refresh is, we'd be changing the theme/design of the wiki to closely align with the upcoming release. Of course, this would be for a limited time, and the community can decide to revert everything back as to how it was previously. In addition, we're hoping that we can include embedded audio previews and audio snippets describing the different characters if this is of interest. Let's discuss! - No designs are available at the moment, as this is in very early stages, however, I can surely say that the product itself will be mainly featured on the home page, but it won't take up a majority of the home page. We would be featuring the audible collection more prominently for everyone to discover easily, while still maintaining and respecting the legacy content while also prominently featuring the new audiobooks. The redesign and home page redesign will come with a change in wiki theming colors to be more closely aligned with the upcoming audible collection. We'll work with you all on addressing any issues that you all may have as well should this be of interest. I don't have any objection if the redesign is set to be temporary, but I would like to know how long it would be that way. Naturally it'll have some relation to magic number 7. So seven weeks? Seven months?
On the other hand, if it's to be permanent, then I reserve judgement until I actually see what it will look like.(GoldenOath20 (talk) 01:56, 18 January 2025 (UTC))

- Sounds good. A new design is long overdue, since the current design is for Hogwarts Legacy and that already happened two years ago. I’d be interested in a redesign in principle and would be interested in the final design. Also, I mentioned in the linked discussion over at Talk:Main Page#Theme change that I do support it. In summary, A change to the main page would be welcome so that it is less focused on Hogwarts Legacy and more toward a generic and broad Harry Potter-focused page. Then as the dates gets closer to the audio books, I would love to have the main page updated again, so that it would reflect a change. SeichanGrey (talk) 13:34, 18 January 2025 (UTC)

Hey folks! As promised, I'd give an update when I have more info! Rather than a wiki refresh, it'll be a small update on the homepage and right rail of the wiki. It shouldn't impact the look of the wiki at all and or your experience on the wiki as usual, but we're still going to help the wiki community celebrate the upcoming audible release as mentioned. I don't have any mock-ups to share, but for those wondering as to what the small update is/will look like, it'll be a module containing two buttons: one linking to audible and another linking to the wiki page specifically about the audible release. - Nice! I'm excited to see how this will go and what it will look like. I also love that it doesn't change too much. In a few months — or maybe just a year or so — the Hogwarts Legacy part will have to be updated to the upcoming TV series. - Hey folks! Just as a heads up, that the audible update is planning to launch on November 4, which is the release date for the first book. At launch, the module will spotlight Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, including the cover artwork, a description of the audiobook series, a link to listen on Audible, and a link to learn more about the series on the Harry Potter Wiki. As mentioned, the module will remain up for a limited time. As a heads up, Audible plans to release a new audiobook at the beginning of each month until May.
