Fowler was the surname of a pure-blood or half-blood wizarding family in the 20th century. Two of the family's members were known Death Eaters who were killed during or shortly after the First Wizarding War.[2]
History[]
During the First Wizarding War, Virgil Fowler's parents joined Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters. As a result of their actions as Death Eaters, they were killed sometime during the war, or shortly after as the British Ministry of Magic worked to round up the remaining Death Eaters. This left their son, Virgil Fowler, orphaned and he lived in the care of his uncle until he started attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 1985–1986 school year, where he was sorted into Ravenclaw.[2]
